Congo Minister’s plane skids off runway, catches fire

The plane carrying Congolese Minister of Mines Louis Watum Kabamba skidded off the runway and caught fire while landing at Kolwezi airport.

Axar.az informs that the minister's assistant reported this.

According to the information, about 20 passengers on the plane were safely evacuated before the fire.

It is reported that the minister was visiting the region in connection with the collapse at the Kolwezi mine.
