Asadov held a phone call with Russian Prime Minister

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov held a phone call with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Axar.az informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers’ Press Service, during the conversation, the leaders reviewed current issues in Azerbaijan-Russia trade and economic cooperation, noting positive growth in bilateral trade. They also discussed joint projects in areas of mutual interest.

The Russian side expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its assistance in the rapid evacuation of Russian citizens from Iran amid the complex regional situation.

The prime ministers highlighted the significance of the visit to Baku yesterday by a delegation led by Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister and welcomed the agreement to hold the next session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Azerbaijan this April.

Taking the opportunity, Prime Minister Asadov congratulated Mishustin on his 60th birthday and wished him continued success in public service.
