The US and Ukraine hold productive peace talks

A meeting has begun between the Ukrainian delegation in the United States and the White House to discuss steps to be taken to achieve a dignified peace.

Axar.az reports that Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustam Umerov posted this information on his social network account.

“The priorities of the Ukrainian delegation during the negotiations are the following:

- Constructive dialogue;

- Progress of negotiations based on the progress achieved in Geneva;

- Protection of Ukrainian interests,” Umerov said.

It should be noted that the meeting with the Ukrainian delegation was reported to have been attended by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Representative of the President Steve Whitkoff, and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

The US and Ukrainian delegations took a two-hour break from the talks in Florida.

Ukrainian media reported this.

After the break, the parties will continue negotiations on ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.

The round of talks between the United States and Ukraine in Florida was productive, but much work remains to be done to reach a final result.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated this.

“A lot of work remains to be done, but today was a very productive and useful session. I believe that further progress was made,” he said.
