MIDVOLGA-2 tanker reports attack in Black Sea

Turkiye on Tuesday said another tanker had reported coming under attack in the Black Sea while en route to Georgia.

Axar.az informs, citing CNN Turk, according to Turkiye’s maritime affairs directorate, the tanker MIDVOLGA-2, carrying sunflower oil from Russia to Georgia, reported that it was attacked 80 miles off our coast while en route.

The vessel currently has no emergency requests, and all 13 crew members are safe. The ship is proceeding toward Sinop under its own power.
