The United Nations, established 80 years ago, continues to fulfill its mission with dignity and often serves as the only mechanism for maintaining a balance of interests worldwide, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the International Forum on Peace and Trust in Ashgabat.

Axar.az informs “Created 80 years ago, it still carries out its mission with dignity and, in practice, is a unique—and often the only—mechanism for preserving the international balance of interests,” the Russian leader said. “Most importantly, it helps find coordinated solutions to complex problems, taking into account the positions and views of all parties.”
