Erdogan meets Turkmen leader in Ashgabat

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Ashgabat.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish Presidential Administration released a statement on this.

Erdogan met with the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, as part of the visit.

Details of the meeting were not provided.

It should be noted that Erdogan is accompanied on his visit to Turkmenistan by his wife Emine Erdogan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, the Presidential Advisor on Foreign Policy and Security Affairs, and the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
