Pezeshkian awarded an honorary doctorate in Kazakhstan

Today, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of Nazarbayev University during his visit to Kazakhstan.

Axar.az reports that speaking at the presentation ceremony, Pezeshkian expressed his satisfaction with being with professors and students and emphasized that the university is one of the leading scientific centers in the region in the field of medicine.

In his speech, the President noted that Iran and Kazakhstan have both a "glorious past" and a "bright future."

"If thousands of years ago, Ibn Sina, Farabi, Kharazmi, and Biruni influenced the development of world civilization, today Iranians and Kazakhs can continue this path in the fields of modern medicine, vaccines, digital health, and new technologies," he said.
