Kremlin says Kyiv’s non-NATO status ‘cornerstone’ in talks

A legally binding commitment by Ukraine not to join NATO is a cornerstone of negotiations on a Ukraine settlement, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Axar.az informs, citing TASS, “Of course, this is one of the central issues and requires separate, detailed discussion alongside other matters. That is exactly what negotiations are about. I would like to stress once again that we do not want to conduct this process through public statements,” he said at a briefing.
