NATO to open Ukraine arms transit hub in Romania

A new NATO logistics center will begin operating in Romania in January 2026, which will coordinate and facilitate the transit of weapons for Ukraine.

Axar.az informs that the Defense Express publication reported on this.

It was stated that thanks to the new center, NATO will be able to double the maximum transit level of weapons supplied to Ukraine.

The opening of the center in Romania was also confirmed by NATO Deputy Commander for Support to Ukraine, General Mike Keller.

It should be noted that until now, the center for the supply of NATO weapons to Ukraine was the city of Rzeszów, Poland.
