Axar.az reports, citing Fars News, this was stated by Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, in a public address.

“Iran does not seek dominance or colonial-style influence in the region. However, it is fully prepared to build unity and warm, mutually respectful relations with all neighboring countries. The countries of the region must clearly define their positions regarding those who attack our beloved homeland and kill our people. I advise them to close these bases as soon as possible, because by now they should understand that America’s claim of bringing security and peace is nothing more than a false promise,” Khamenei said.
