Merz’s approval rating drops sharply in Germany

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's approval rating has fallen sharply.

Axar.az informs that Der Spiegel reported on this.

According to the survey, only 35% of respondents now want him to play a major political role in the country's future. This is 11% lower than in July 2025.

More than two-thirds of respondents assess the federal government's performance critically or very critically.
