Israel readies intel push to sway Trump on Iran

Israel is preparing a detailed intelligence dossier to present to US President Donald Trump ahead of an expected meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida.

Axar.az, citing Israel Hayom, reports that the dossier aims to persuade Trump to take clearer, more decisive action against Iran, which Israel views as the central driver of regional instability through its nuclear ambitions, missile program, and support for proxy groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis.

Israeli officials believe past military strikes exposed Iran’s vulnerability and created a missed opportunity to weaken or topple the regime, partly due to limited US cooperation.

Israel now seeks to set concrete milestones with Washington, combining possible military action with harsher economic sanctions, diplomatic pressure, and support for internal opposition in Iran.

The goal is either to force major concessions from Tehran or ultimately destabilize and remove the regime, which Israel argues would significantly reduce regional terrorism and conflict.
