Brawl breaks out in Turkish parliament -

A fight broke out among lawmakers during the vote on the 2026 budget and the 2024 final agreement law in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

Axar.az informs according to Turkish media, the fight started after Murat Emir, deputy chairman of the CHP faction, attacked AKP lawmaker Mustafa Varank.

“The conflict quickly escalated into a mass brawl involving other parliament members from both parties. The fight was stopped thanks to the intervention of colleagues,” the report said.
