The Israeli Ministry of Defense has delivered the first unit of the advanced "Iron Beam" air defense system based on laser technology to the Israel Defense Forces.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the statement of the ministry's press service.

"The Israeli Ministry of Defense has delivered the first high-power "Iron Beam" laser system to the Israel Defense Forces. The system, which has proven its effectiveness against various threats in a series of large-scale tests and successfully intercepted rockets, mortar shells, and unmanned aerial vehicles, will be integrated into the Israeli Air Force and will be included in Israel's multi-layered air defense system in addition to the Iron Dome, David's Sling, and Arrow systems," it was stated.
