Serbia, NATO launch first-ever joint military exercise

Serbia has held joint military exercises with NATO countries for the first time in its history.

Axar.az reports that the Serbian Ministry of Defence released the information.

"The exercise, titled “NATO–Serbia,” involves around 600 members of the Serbian Armed Forces and troops from Italy, Romania, and Turkiye, along with military planners and observers from the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Romania, the United States, Serbia, Turkiye, France, and Montenegro. The exercise is being led by Colonel Branislav Stevanovic, deputy commander of the Serbian Army’s Third Ground Brigade," the statement reads

The exercises are being conducted at the tactical level and will continue until May 23.
