Putin: Russian troops fight for homeland

The fighters of the "special military operation" are fighting for their native land, truth, and justice.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin said this in his New Year's address to the people.

"You have taken upon yourself the responsibility of fighting for your native land, truth, and justice. Millions of people in Russia are with you on this New Year's Eve. They are thinking of you, sympathizing with you, and hoping for you," he said.

Vladimir Putin added that Russians believe in Russia's victory in the war.
