Shmyhal nominated for First Deputy PM and energy portfolio

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has proposed Denis Shmyhal for the post of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy.

Axar.az reports that Zelenskyy announced this himself.

“I held consultations with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko. I hope that lawmakers will support this approach and Denis Shmyhal’s appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

It should be noted that Denis Shmyhal was appointed Ukraine’s Minister of Defense last year.
