Israel plans Gaza city offensive in March

Israel plans to launch a new military operation in Gaza City in March, but this will require the consent of US President Donald Trump.

Axar.az informs that the Times of Israel published information about this, citing sources.

According to the information, the Israeli army has prepared plans to resume intensive military operations in Gaza in March.

The aim of the attack on Gaza City within the framework of this plan is to move the so-called "Yellow Line" demarcation line of the ceasefire to the west towards the coast of the enclave, thereby further expanding Israeli control over the territory.

An Arab diplomat told the publication that this operation cannot be carried out without US support:

"The US is currently making efforts to move the fragile ceasefire reached in October to the second phase, which includes the disarmament of Hamas."
