Iran says US begging others to secure Hormuz

Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said US is now begging others, even China, to help it make Hormuz safe amid rising regional tensions.

Axar.az informs he argued that the U.S. “security umbrella” has shown “holes” and has been more inviting trouble than deterring it.

“Iran calls on brotherly neighbours to expel foreign aggressors, especially as their only concern is Israel,” Araghchi wrote on X.
