Yemeni government forces have taken control of military camps in the southern and eastern provinces of the country, including the city of Aden.

Axar.az reports that Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Guidance Council, said this in an address to the people.

“As the head of state and supreme commander of the armed forces, I want to assure you that the operation to seize military camps in the provinces of Hadramaut and Al-Mahra, Aden, and other liberated areas has been completed. These difficult decisions were taken not for the sake of a show of force, but to protect citizens, the legal status of the state, and the constitutional foundations,” Alimi noted.
