US suspends visas for citizens of 75 countries

The United States is suspending visas for citizens of 75 countries.

Axar.az reports that the State Department has made this decision.

The list of countries from which visas are suspended includes Somalia, Afghanistan, Brazil, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Thailand, Yemen, and other states.

It was noted that the decision was made as part of a "more rigorous vetting of applicants" and will come into effect on January 21.
