Syrian army suffers casualties in clashes with SDF

The Syrian army has suffered casualties in clashes with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Raqqa region.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Al Jazeera channel.

It was stated that three Syrian soldiers were killed and two others were wounded.

The SDF said that fighting with the Syrian army is ongoing around Raqqa and that the clashes are taking place near a prison holding ISIS militants.

It should be noted that a ceasefire agreement between the Syrian army and the SDF was reached yesterday. Under the agreement, the SDF is to be integrated into the Syrian army.
