Turkish Airlines launches daily Istanbul–Yerevan flights

Turkish Airlines started operating flights on the route Istanbul–Yerevan–Istanbul.

Axar.az reports the information was released by Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan.

“The welcoming ceremony was attended by Stepan Payaslyan, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian Civil Aviation Committee; Marcelo Vende, Director of Armenian International Airports; and others,” the statement said on Facebook.

Flights on the route Istanbul–Yerevan–Istanbul will be operated daily, and starting from May 14, the frequency will increase to 10 flights per week, and from June 15 — to 14 flights per week.

Today, on March 11, the inaugural flight of Turkish Airlines arrived at Zvartnots International Airport from Istanbul International Airport.
