Iran sees surge in mass arrests after protests subside

Following the decline of protest actions in Iran, mass arrests have increased in various regions.

Axar.az reports that the Iranian Human Rights Organization provided this information.

According to the report, on January 20, security forces of the IRGC arrested 166 people in Qazvin city.

Additionally, it was reported that 192 protesters were detained in Razavi Khorasan province and 73 in Isfahan city.
