EU approves sanctions against Iran

Ambassadors of the European Union member states have approved the imposition of sanctions against Iran.

Axar.az reports that this was reported on the group's website.

It was noted that this decision was made in connection with the brutal suppression of protests in Iran, which resulted in the deaths of thousands of people and Iran's support for Russia in the war against Ukraine.

According to the information, 15 individuals and 6 organizations were included in the sanctions list.
