Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and China met in Beijing

An expanded meeting was held between the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi in Beijing.

Axar.az informs the ministry shared the information on its X account.

"The Ministers reviewed the current state and future prospects of the Azerbaijan–China comprehensive strategic partnership, emphasizing the importance of high-level political dialogue and regular contacts between Foreign Ministries.

Discussions covered the deepening of economic and trade cooperation, investment opportunities, connectivity and transport corridors, energy cooperation, as well as collaboration in innovation and digital development.

The sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments, underlining the value of cooperation within multilateral frameworks.

Both Ministers expressed confidence that this visit would further contribute to strengthening bilateral ties and expanding practical cooperation across multiple sectors," the statement reads.
