Turkish club Bursaspor has begun exploring the conditions for signing French midfielder Paul Pogba, who has been without a club since August 2026.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the club is assessing the financial and physical conditions of a potential deal as it targets a return to the Turkish Super League under coach Mustafa Er.

Bursaspor is interested not only in Pogba’s experience and technical ability but also in his leadership qualities in the dressing room.

However, no official agreement or contract has been signed between the parties. It remains unclear whether the reported contacts will develop into a formal offer.

Pogba, 33, previously played for Manchester United, Juventus and Monaco and won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France. He left Monaco in August 2026 and is currently a free agent.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan national team player Toral Bayramov currently plays for Bursaspor.
