EU official holds talks with Azerbaijani leadership

The Director-General for Enlargement and Eastern Partnership of the European Union (EU), Gert Jan Koopman, held fruitful talks with state and government officials of Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the Director-General said this in a post on his X account.

"The peace agenda, regional connections, and partnership issues between the European Union and Azerbaijan were discussed. An exchange of views was held with Assistant to the President Hikmet Hajiyev and Elchin Amirbekov (Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan - ed.) on the EU's support in the field of mine clearance, socio-economic development, as well as the next stages of coordination on the Middle Corridor," the post noted.
