EU eases visa rules to attract skilled workers

The European Commission is easing visa rules to overcome the economic crisis and attract qualified labor.

Axar.az reports that within this framework, it is planned to extend the 90-day stay limit in the Schengen area for 6 strategically important professional groups and switch to a single EU system instead of bilateral agreements.

This group includes artists on tour, athletes participating in international events, specialists working on cross-border projects, workers supporting the EU industrial and service sectors, truck and logistics drivers providing services to EU countries, and consultants working on regional projects.
