Five terrorists killed during operation in Pakistan

Five suspected terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation carried out by security forces in Pishin district of Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province.

Axar.az reports, citing Pakistani media, that in a statement released on Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said troops conducted the operation based on intelligence reports indicating the presence of militants in the area.

Security personnel engaged the suspects, leading to an exchange of fire. During the operation, one of the suspects detonated an explosive device, while the remaining four were killed in the clash.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials were recovered from the site, the statement said. The suspects were believed to be involved in militant activities in the region.

Security forces have launched search and clearance operations in the surrounding area to ensure that no other suspects remain at large.
