Pakistan reports 331 Afghan soldiers killed, 500 wounded

At least 331 Afghan soldiers have been killed and more than 500 wounded in clashes with Pakistani forces.

Axar.az reports that Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said in a post on X on February 28 that 37 locations across Afghanistan were targeted by airstrikes.

Additionally, 104 Afghan checkpoints were destroyed and 22 others were captured. A total of 163 tanks and armored vehicles were taken out of service.

Clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan began on February 26. Pakistan has declared that it has entered "open war" with Afghanistan.
