Pakistan reports 297 Afghan soldiers killed, 450 wounded

At least 297 Afghan soldiers have been killed and more than 450 wounded in clashes with Pakistani forces.

Axar.az reports that Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar posted on X that 29 targets in Afghanistan were struck by air attacks.

Additionally, 89 Afghan checkpoints were destroyed and 18 others were captured. More than 135 military vehicles, including tanks, armored personnel carriers, and artillery, were taken out of service.

The clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan began on February 26, and Pakistan has declared that it has entered open warfare with Afghanistan.
