Iran denies launching missile towards Turkiye

Iran respects the sovereignty of neighboring and friendly country Turkiye and denies launching any missiles toward its territory, the Iranian army said in a statement.

Axar.az reports that yesterday the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Turkiye announced that a ballistic missile launched from Iran and detected heading toward Turkish airspace had been neutralized by NATO air and missile defense systems deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean.
