8 troops wounded in Hezbollah rocket attack on Israel

Eight IDF soldiers were injured in a Hezbollah rocket attack in northern Israel earlier today, the military reported, with five of them in serious condition.

Axar.az reports, citing Times of Israel, the rocket hit a military position near the Lebanon border.

All the affected soldiers, who serve in the Givati Brigade, were transported to a hospital for treatment. The army confirmed that five remain in serious condition, while three sustained light injuries.

The office of Finance Minister Betzalel Smotrich said his son was among those lightly injured in the rocket attack.
