4.1-magnitude earthquake hits southern iran

A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran.

Axar.az reports that the information was released by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

According to the report, the epicenter of the quake was 74 km west of the city of Bandar Abbas (the port waters are located north of the Strait of Hormuz) at a depth of 10 km.

No casualties or damage have been reported.
