Tehran expects Russia to utilize its international capacities to support the rights of the Iranian people against the US and Israeli military aggression, President Masoud Pezeshkian said.

Axar.az informs, citing Tasnim, in a telephone conversation on Friday night, President Pezeshkian and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin discussed the latest regional developments following the war of aggression imposed by the US and the Israeli regime against Iran.

Pezeshkian described the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei as an act contrary to all legal norms and international regulations. He emphasized that oppressors aim to impose their will upon nations through blind and desperate acts of power.

Pezeshkian underscored that Iran expects Russia to utilize its international capacities to support the rightful rights of the Iranian people against these aggressions.
