Five killed, seven injured in Iran’s Markazi province

At least five people were killed and seven others injured after U.S.–Israeli strikes hit Iran’s Markazi province

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, the first strike targeted a residential area surrounding the city of Arak, killing at least four people. In a second attack, a residential building in Mahallat was hit, leaving one person dead and seven others injured.

The report noted that the death toll could rise.

The strikes come amid the ongoing military campaign launched by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28.
