Zelensky says further exchanges possible after US talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on X that he received a report from his negotiating team following the second day of meetings in the United States with envoys of the U.S. President.

Axar.az informs that Zelensky expressed gratitude to American society for its clear support for a normal, dignified peace for Ukraine.

He emphasized that no one should be forced to return to war in the future, noting that security guarantees for Ukraine and all of Europe are essential for reliable peace.

He said that once the negotiating team returns to Ukraine, a detailed discussion of all aspects of the meetings will take place, as some details cannot yet be safely shared over the phone.

Zelensky also indicated that there are signals that further exchanges may be possible, describing this as a positive sign and a confirmation that diplomacy is working.
