Israeli army captures Hezbollah members in Lebanon

Israeli Defense Forces captured several Hezbollah operatives, members of the terror group’s elite Radwan Force, during operations in southern Lebanon.

Axar.az informs according to IDF, they were planning to fire an anti-tank missile at the troops and to establish an anti-tank missile vantage point to target at communities in northern Israel.

"After being identified, the terrorists surrendered. They were apprehended by the troops and transferred to Israeli territory for further questioning," the IDF said on Telegram.

The IDF said that initial investigations indicate that the terrorists arrived in southern Lebanon from the Beqaa Valley area at the start of the war with Iran.

“This case once again proves that the Lebanese army failed and did not prevent the movement of terrorists and weapons south of the Litani [River],” the military said.
