Over the past two days, Turkiye, Egypt, and Pakistan have acted as intermediaries, passing messages between the U.S. and Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing Axios, that high-level talks were held separately between the foreign ministers of these countries, Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

Axios reports that the mediation process is ongoing and making progress, with discussions focused on ending the conflict and resolving outstanding issues.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty emphasized the importance of containing the broader effects of the conflict and preventing its escalation.

It should be noted that U.S. President Donald Trump has postponed military strikes on Iran’s energy infrastructure and power plants for five days. While he claimed that talks with Iran had taken place, Tehran has denied this information.
