Iran and Egypt foreign ministers discuss regional tensions

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty spoke by phone about "the latest developments and the regional and international implications of the U.S. and Israeli attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran".

Axar.az informs, citing the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s press office, during the call, Araghchi outlined Iran’s perspective on the aggression and the decisive defensive actions of its armed forces against the attackers.

Abdelatty shared Egypt’s recent consultations with regional and international actors aimed at reducing tensions in the region.

Both foreign ministers emphasized the continuation of dialogue and consultations between their countries.
