Russia discussed Cuba oil deliveries with US

Moscow discussed in advance with Washington the possibility of humanitarian oil supplies to Cuba, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Axar.az reports that the Russian tanker Anatoly Kolodkin carrying a humanitarian cargo of 100,000 tons of oil has arrived in Cuba. It was reported that the United States does not object to periodic humanitarian oil deliveries to Cuba by Russia and other countries.

“As for the American side, I can only confirm that this issue was indeed raised in advance during contacts with our American counterparts,” Peskov said when asked about the matter.
