Israel army kills Hezbollah commander in Beirut

The Israeli army has killed a Hezbollah commander in an attack on Beirut.

Axar.az reports that the information was shared on the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)’s Telegram channel.

"Yesterday (Tuesday), March 31, 2026, the Israeli Navy, directed by the Intelligence Directorate and Northern Command, conducted a strike in Beirut and eliminated Hajj Yusuf Ismail Hashem, the Commander of Hezbollah’s Southern Front," the statement said.
