Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to return to Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, after concluding his visit to Oman, before continuing his planned trip to Russia.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim, the return to Islamabad is part of his previously scheduled itinerary rather than an emergency decision.

Araghchi arrived in Muscat on Saturday evening after holding talks with Pakistani officials in Islamabad.

It is also reported that part of the foreign minister’s delegation returned to Tehran from Islamabad for consultations and is expected to rejoin him in Islamabad on Sunday night.

It should be noted that Foreign Minister Araghchi’s regional tour changed plans. He returned to Islamabad instead of traveling to Moscow as originally scheduled.
