Germany to allocate €11.6bn for Ukraine in 2027 budget

The German government has approved key financial targets for its 2027 budget, including continued financial support for Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, Germany will continue supporting Ukraine with €11.6 billion in 2027, and €8.5 billion annually between 2028 and 2030, as part of its medium-term financial framework.

It is also noted that, including a special defense fund and allocations for Ukraine, total defence spending is expected to reach €144.9 billion in 2027, equivalent to 3.1% of GDP, in line with NATO commitments.
