Flights between Iran and Iraq resume

Flights between Iran and Iraq on the Mashhad–Baghdad route have been resumed after a two-month suspension.

Axar.az reports according to Iranian media, the first passenger plane departing from Mashhad successfully landed at Baghdad International Airport after a 59-day break.

The restoration of air traffic between Iran and Iraq was made possible following agreements between the Iran Civil Aviation Organization and Iraq’s Ministry of Transport.
