FIFA imposes transfer ban on Qarabag

FIFA has imposed a transfer ban on Qarabag FK.

Axar.az reports that under the decision, the Agdam club would be unable to register new players for the next three transfer windows.

However, Qarabag’s press officer Anar Hajiyev told Teleqraf that the club has not received any official notification, adding that the situation is not seen as problematic and is expected to be clarified on Monday.

He also stressed that there are no issues from the club’s side.

It is worth noting that FIFA recently imposed a similar ban on Neftchi PFK, which was later lifted.
