Israel built secret Iraq Base for Iran war operations

Israel built a clandestine military outpost in the Iraqi desert to support its air campaign against Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing The Wall Street Journal, the installation was set up shortly before the war began, with the knowledge of the United States.

It served as a logistical hub for the Israeli Air Force and also housed special forces and search-and-rescue teams.

The base was intended to support operations in case Israeli aircraft were downed during combat missions.
