Tokayev says no disputes between Kazakhstan and Russia

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has said there are no unresolved disputes between Kazakhstan and Russia.

Axar.az reports that Tokayev made the remarks during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Kazakhstan has no controversial issues with Russia,” he said, adding that close and friendly relations with Moscow are of great importance for Kazakhstan.

“The relationship between Russia and Kazakhstan is one of friendship and brotherhood with many shared values,” Tokayev noted.

It should be noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin is visiting Kazakhstan to attend a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Astana.
