Ukraine reports strikes on Russian oil facilities

Several fires broke out at Russian oil facilities following overnight strikes carried out by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on July 10.

Axar.az reports that the information was released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the statement, explosions and a fire were reported at the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Territory following the attack. The General Staff described the facility as one of the largest oil refineries in southern Russia, with an annual processing capacity of up to 6.6 million tons of crude oil. The refinery produces gasoline, diesel fuel, and other petroleum products, including supplies used to support Russia's military logistics.

Another strike reportedly targeted the Novatek–Ust-Luga gas condensate processing complex in Russia's Leningrad region. The facility is one of the country's largest plants for processing gas condensate and producing light petroleum products, with an annual processing capacity of around 7 million tons.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces also struck the Kurgannefteprodukt oil terminal in Taganrog, Rostov region, where a fire broke out. The terminal is used for the receipt, storage, and transportation of petroleum products in Russia's Azov Sea region.

Explosions were also reported after a strike on the Azovnefteprodukt oil depot in the city of Azov.
