Zakharova: Russia still considers Armenia an ally

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has said that Russia continues to consider Armenia an ally and regards the Armenian people as a brotherly nation.

Axar.az reports that Zakharova made the remarks during a briefing.

“I would like to begin with Russia’s attitude toward Armenia and its citizens. It has not changed. We continue to consider the republic our partner in the South Caucasus, and we regard the Armenian people as a brotherly nation. We wish them only peace and prosperity,” she said.
